Trend alert - it's all about Marsala
Marsala – the official Pantone color of the year – has been seen strutting up and down the catwalk in New York, London, and Milan for Fashion Week this season. The color has been a hit for Fall/Winter - an alternative to our usual neutrals for the cooler seasons, a hint of Marsala is a must for everyone’s wardrobe this year!
And who said we had to stop there? Why not add a bit of Marsala to your beauty closet? Introduce darker tones into your makeup routine to be on trend this Fall/Winter. Trade in your bright red lipstick for a darker shade, like the Lip Master lipstick from Wow by Wojooh in Ruby Rare. A darker lip can really compliment a nice neutral wool and can make your regular fall outfit really pop. If you prefer a more matte lipstick and want to incorporate the Marsala trend into your look, why not go for our Lipstuck matte lipstick in the Henna Satin. Compared to the Ruby Rare, the Henna Stain is a tad brighter but still in the Marsala family – a good option if your afraid of going too dark! With either shade, make sure not to forget to outline your lips with our Wow by Wojooh Lip Master liner in Persian Berry. For those who love a fuller lip, outlining the lips before applying your lipstick can really enhance the final look.
If you prefer more nude shades on your lips but still want to incorporate the Marsala trend in your make up look, why not accentuate the eyes this fall with a dark smokey eye and a touch of maroon? The Wow by Wojooh Color Glamour eye shadow palette in Smoky Drama has a beautiful shade called Amber Asai. After creating your regular smokey eye using the palette, dab some of the Amber Asai right in the middle of the eyelid to add a touch of Marsala to your look.
Wojooh believes that beauty is the ultimate fashion accessory – so whether its part of your wardrobe or your beauty look, our Wojooh Beauty Expert believes this beautiful shade of dark red is a MUST for this Fall/Winter!
